Who We Are

We are a neighborhood-based, non-profit volunteer group that has two areas of focus: beautifying and maintaining the gardens and greenery within our unique Greenwich Street pedestrian promenade, and expanding Tribeca's "urban forest".

We're feisty and committed. We don't receive any regular governmental funding, but believe our mission contributes in a real way to the public’s well being. We depend on your support, in any way and in any amount you can offer it!

One of our major initiatives since 2006 has been the neighborhood-wide greening of Tribeca, through our program to increase the number and health of our in-ground street trees. We coordinate with the Parks Department and private parties to plant more street trees, and to find and train more caregivers to help care for our street trees so they stay alive and beautiful.
